The Path to Alignment and Excellence
Growing up in an entrepreneurial family, I learned early on that excellence isn’t something you stumble upon—it’s a daily commitment. Whether it was my dad, my grandparents, or my mom (who thrived in direct sales), I saw firsthand what it meant to show up every day with accountability and purpose.
Even at five years old, I was using my mom’s daily planner, highlighting tasks with different colors, unknowingly training myself in the art of time management. Fast forward through years of coaching, masterminds, leadership programs, and certifications, and I’ve distilled everything I’ve learned into my signature framework: Aligned and Unstoppable.
In this blog post, I’m giving you a sneak peek into this framework—a guide to uncovering what truly motivates you, setting aligned goals, and stepping into unstoppable momentum.
Step 1: Discover Your Core Motivation
Understanding what drives you is key to aligning your life with your purpose. One of my favorite exercises is identifying your core motivational need—sometimes called the five basic needs (not to be confused with Maslow’s hierarchy of needs!). Here are the five primary motivators:

Power & Achievement: Motivated by success and winning.

Love & Connection: Fueled by collaboration and community.

Safety & Security: Driven by stability and financial security.
-
Fun & Adventure: Inspired by excitement and spontaneity.
-
Freedom & Flexibility: Motivated by the ability to do what you want, when you want.
For example, my primary motivation is fun and adventure, with freedom and flexibility as a close second. That’s why the idea of a structured corporate job never resonated with me—I thrive when I can design my own schedule and pursue opportunities that excite me.
Take a moment to reflect: Which of these core motivators drives you the most?
Step 2: Dream a New Dream
Sometimes, we lose momentum because we’ve stopped dreaming. We get stuck in routine and forget to ask: How do I want my life to feel?
For me, a recent wake-up call came when my husband asked, What’s your favorite Christmas memory? As I reflected, I realized my favorite moments were spent laughing with my cousins, playing outside, and watching movies for hours with my family.
In that moment, I birthed a new dream: to create a home that brings my family together every few years for an unforgettable Christmas.
This dream now fuels my daily actions. It motivates me to build a career that provides the financial freedom to create those experiences. And just like that, my passion was reignited.
So, ask yourself: What new dream do I need to dream? What vision excites me enough to leap out of bed in the morning?
Step 3: Set Metrics for Measurable Action
Once you’ve defined your dream, it’s time to make it real. Inside my Aligned and Unstoppable framework, I teach the Eight Areas of Growth, where you define how you want each area of your life to feel and set measurable action steps to get there.
The eight areas include:

Spiritual

Physical (e.g., "I want to feel superhuman with more than enough energy.")

Emotional
-
Family
-
Career & Calling
-
Friends & Community
-
Financial
-
Personal Growth
For each area, create 1–2 measurable goals. This ensures that your dream isn’t just an idea but a reality in the making.
Step 4: Meet Your Fears Head-On
Every big dream comes with fear. Some of us fear the future (What if I fail?), while others fear the past (What if I mess up like before?). My personal fear has always been the latter—having failed before, I sometimes hesitate to take big leaps again.
But here’s the truth: Failure breeds wisdom, and wisdom breeds compassion. Every setback has prepared me for my next level of growth.
To rewire your brain for success, start by identifying the lies you’ve been telling yourself. Then, replace them with truth statements:

I used to believe that starting something new would lead to failure.

But today, I choose to believe that every experience is a stepping stone to success.
-
Because that is true, I am stepping fully into my purpose.
Your brain is not fixed. You have the power to rewrite your story.
Bringing It All Together
The Aligned and Unstoppable framework is about designing a life that feels as good as it looks. To recap:

Figure out what motivates you. (Power? Connection? Adventure?)

Dream a new dream. (How do you want your life to feel?)

Set measurable goals. (Use the Eight Areas of Growth as your guide.)

Rewrite the fears holding you back. (Replace limiting beliefs with truth statements.)
